After this short commercial break…

Now that the the Freedom Plan Blog Challenge is over, we’re back to regular scheduling. (Except of course, this time we’ll be more regular; like, more than once in a blue moon kind of regular.)

Thanks for your patience while I took the blog through that little interlude. If you have a blog of your own (or really, you just want to create something more with your life than what you’re currently living) then I highly recommend going through Natalie’s 10 day challenge.

While for me, the challenge was about kick-starting a writing habit; it was also a great forum for asking yourself …

Those Hard Questions

Those questions that you think you’re gong to need a good long weekend away to ponder; but really, the fact that you’ve got to ponder them while still in the throes of your regular life, pushes you to stop dilly-dallying and just get on with it.

It also helps that not only do you have to ponder the question that’s been asked, you’ve also got to come up with a coherent response that you need to write in a blog post (or record in a video or podcast) AND it’s got to be done within the 24 hours because you know that the next email, and question, is coming and this shit is waaay too hard to catch up on if you get behind.

It is possible to catch up, but I don’t envy anyone that had to do it. I think it’s hard enough to evaluate one life changing question in a day… I think I’d be pushed over the edge if I had to ponder three!

This blog has always (and by ‘always’ I mean ‘the 6 months that it’s been alive’) been about personal development. My aim is to provide you with tools and tips that I have been using as I try to create a life that I’m both happy with and proud of.

Well in my opinion, the Freedom Plan Blogging Challenge is a perfect first step to personal development. How could you go wrong when you go through each of these topics:

  • Finding your focus
  • Discovering your WHY
  • Creating a vision for the future
  • Unlocking your superpowers
  • Setting yourself up for success
  • Finding your tribe
  • Beating procrastination and overwhelm
  • Choose your adventure
  • Location independence
  • Celebrating Freedom!

One day I’d love to delve into each of these topics in more depth on this blog. But until then, I’d encourage you to sign up to do the 10 day blogging challenge.

Disclaimer: I think Natalie runs the challenge as a pre-curser to the launch of her programme, The Freedom Plan. But you don’t need to wait until she runs it each year, you could just do the challenge to your own timing.

At the moment Natalie and her team are promoting The Freedom Plan, it’s only open for a couple of days and she only takes 100 people (I think). If I had the available cash, I would not hesitate to do the course. So even though it might sound like I am recommending the course, I’m not; only because I haven’t done it myself.

But… from my experience doing this challenge, following Natalie on her blog, podcast and social media; I feel very confident that Natalie is the real deal. But if you’re interested, check it out at thefreedomplan.rocks

As for me, I’m still in the glow of completing the challenge and letting all the lessons I learnt, sink in.
